i have a fascination with all things Hudson Bay.
the iconic hudson bay stripe blanket was traded by the HBC to Canada and the US during the 18th century and 19th century. These blankets were bartered to Native Americans in exchange for Beaver pelts. The Native Americans no doubt appreciated their warmth. For me it's the modern clean stripes.
