Big Apple TWEED Ride......
Dozens of stylish riders in Fabulous Fall Tweed took part in the Apple Tweed Ride on Sunday in Brooklyn. What is a Tweed Ride?
And why is it just another thing I miss about Fall in New York.

A Tweed Ride is a group bicycle ride through a defined route, in which the cyclists are expected to dress in traditional British cycling or vintage attire, particularly tweed. Any bicycle is acceptable on the Tweed Ride, but classic vintage bicycles are encouraged. There are Tweed rides in SF, Portland, Sydney, England...
Biking, strolling, male, female a bit of Tweed is simply dandy....

A grey Donegal tweed tie is a smart way to bring texture and British cool to your man's outfit. Tell him to wear it with dark jeans and lace up oxfords.
Leopard Never Fatigues....
I am a HUGE lover of Leopard worn as a piece. Scarf, boot, skirt, To me it is a classic not a trend and true LEOPARD LOVERS agree. But making it fresh is the key. This season pair it with CAMEL, OLIVE GREEN FATIGUES, GREY, NAVY and BLACK. Less new is wearing leopard with ALL BLACK. Too safe and too predictable.

The French Sailor Shirt
Originating from Brittany France in 1820, the Breton sailor shirt exudes French chic. Constructed from a fine knit cotton, with three quarter sleeve, it protected sailors from the elements. It was thought that the bold navy and white stripes made it easier to locate a sailor overboard.
Jean Seberg, James Dean, Andy Warhol, Coco Chanel, are just a few of the endless icons both male and female who have donned the unisex nautical striped shirt..

Emmanuelle Alt, the recently ordained editor in chief of French Vogue, has style for days. Her look is a mix of affordable French labels such as A.P.C. and Isabel Marant and the ultra luxe pieces from Balmain and leathers from Gucci and Balenciaga. What rocks her outfit below is the high of the Balmain jacket and the low of the slouchy jeans and boots. The jacket is the investment piece.
