The New Yorker

Californians love their cars.  Cars designate style, social class, how big or small one's pocketbook is.  Me I'm a New Yorker, cars have never really rocked my world.  In Manhattan the accessories one wear's designates ones style.  BUT I stopped dead in my tracks when I came across this beauty in St. Helena, CA. 

I was overcome by the beauty of the design....in a second I forgot about the tomatoes and all the other things on my shopping list.  So blown away by the simple, elegance of this car.  And the name NEW YORKER.  A beauty of a car that even this New Yorker could love.

Every detail was perfection.  Chrome ashtrays beautifully placed on the back of the metallic leather seats.  A design treasure from 1964 sitting in a 2011 parking lot.

Completely by surprise I fell madly, deeply in car love.....
